The Basic Difference Between Bone And Cartilage is that Cartilage and bone are two different kinds of tissues. In common, they are hard in nature. They are both found in the human body mostly found in the head, neck, hands, feet, ear, and kneecaps. bones are hard and dense and serve as an endoskeleton for the body cartilage is also hard but it is semisolid in nature.

In biology, bone is defined as hard tissue that is developed via the process of ossification in the tissues of the body. Bones are vital to the growth and healing of our bodies and support our figures. Bones in a human body can range in size and shape.

Bone is the part of our body made of calcium and phosphorus. It serves as the connective tissue of our body as well as protection for our organs. It also helps in the absorption of calcium.

What is Cartilage?

Cartilage is a flexible, fibrous, connective tissue that makes up the shape of your bones and protects them from shock. It is found in areas such as the nose, ears, and joints, which are moveable parts like elbows, knees, and hips.

Cartilage is a type of fibrous connective tissue that is made up of cells that produce the extracellular matrix and the extracellular substances. There are four different types of cartilage.

They are all part of the human body and are made up of different tissue types. Cartilage is used for tissue support and acts as the shock absorber for different parts of the body. The four types of cartilage are hyaline cartilage, elastic cartilage, fibrocartilage, and calcified cartilage. The most common type of cartilage is hyaline cartilage.
