the bones of animals can be spongy or compact osseous tissue. their concentration and distribution can also be varied depending on the overall structure of bones. the basic difference between Compact And Spongy Bones is that compact bones are those that are dense and can withstand compressive force while spongy are those bones that have open spaces and supports shifts in weight distribution.
