the physical properties of materials can be divided into two categories i.e. extensive properties and intensive properties. the basic difference between Extensive And Intensive Properties is that Extensive properties are those that depend on the amount of matter, which helps to identify a sample. mass and volume are some common examples of such properties. while intensive properties are those that are independent of the amount of matter, which helps to only describe a sample. density and electricity conduction are common examples of those properties.
