Difference Between Nucleus And Nucleoid

The nucleus is known as a structure bounded by a membrane. inside the membrane, eukaryotes stored the genetic material and information while Nucleoid is a particular cell in which prokaryotes stores their genetic materials. the basic difference Between Nucleus And Nucleoid is that the Nucleus is large in size and organized well, it is surrounded by a double layer membrane (nuclear membrane). this membrane separates the nucleus from other organelles. on the other hand, the Nucleoid is small in size that is organized poorly. it also lacks a protective or nuclear membrane.
